Ruhuna Engineering Faculty, Nature Conservation and Mountaineering/Trekking Club (Gaweshakayo) is a student-led organization dedicated to fostering environmental awareness and promoting conservation practices through exciting outdoor adventures. Founded in 2016, our club brings together a multidisciplinary team of passionate individuals who explore environmental challenges, propose solutions, and engage with communities to protect our natural world. Our members participate in a range of activities, including hiking, trekking, and mountaineering, while also organizing educational programs and nature conservation campaigns. We collaborate with other nature clubs, private organizations, and universities to broaden the impact of our efforts.
