Die Gesellschaft Anthroposophischer Ärztinnen und Ärzte Deutschland (GAÄD) ist die 1953 in Stuttgart gegründete ärztlich-wissenschaftliche Fachgesellschaft für Anthroposophische Medizin in Deutschland.
Wir engagieren uns für eine patientenzentrierte integrative Medizin, die auf der modernen, naturwissenschaftlich basierten Medizin aufbaut und dabei von einem ganzheitlichen Menschenbild ausgeht, das neben der körperlichen Ebene auch Lebensprozesse, Seele und Geist berücksichtigt. Wir arbeiten für eine verbesserte medizinische Grundlagenforschung und entwickeln neue diagnostische, therapeutische und pharmazeutische Methoden. Schwerpunktmäßig kümmern wir uns um Aus-, Fort- und Weiterbildung in Wissenschaft, Forschung und Lehre.
Die Förderung von Studentinnen und Studenten gehört ebenso zu unserem Aufgabenfeld wie die Zertifizierung und Akkreditierung zur anthroposophischen Ärztin / zum anthroposophischen Arzt.
In diesem Zusammenhang kooperieren wir mit Institutionen wie der Medizinischen Sektion am Goetheanum, der IVAA (International Federation of Anthroposophic Medical Associations) oder dem DAMiD (Dachverband Anthroposophische Medizin in Deutschland).
