GBG is a professional and independent Eastern Cape-based accounting firm with over 5000 satisfied clients spread throughout South Africa.
Over the next 27 years, the firm expanded and increased its presence in the Eastern Cape. The Graaff Reinet office was purchased in 1991 from Smit Flok and Co. and was first managed by Charl De Villiers. In 1998 Mrs Ralie Blignaut was appointed as a new partner and she is currently still managing the Graaff Reinet office. Due to growth, Mr. Tertius Van Der Walt was made a partner in the Cradock office in 2004. The Somerset East office also necessitated the addition of a new partner and in 2010 Mr Lafras Moolman was made partner. In 2015 Ronette Marais also joined the Somerset East office as a partner. The Middelburg office established after the purchase of the firm Theron Du Plessis in October 2010 and was managed by Mrs Marieke Le Roux who also became a partner. The next expansion came in January 2014 when Mr Francois Calitz opened the Kirkwood office.
