About GCCRC - Genomics for Climate Change Research Center

The GCCRC is a RD center jointly operated by the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) and the University of Campinas (Unicamp), and one of the Engineering Research Centers (ERCs) supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). The GCCRC gathers multidisciplinary expertise around an agricultural biotechnology pipeline aiming at enhancing genetic and microbial-mediated adaptation of crops to abiotic stresses associated with global climate change. The GCCRC operates in the framework of UMiPI GenClima, a long-term cooperation agreement established by Embrapa and Unicamp in 2012.
