Esablished in 1987, GD Textiles Pvt. Ltd. is involved in the manufacturing of technical textiles. The company primarily specialises in the manufacturing of jacketing fabrics for V-Belts, for which it holds the largest share of the Indian market. The company also manufactures impression fabrics, heat-resistant fabrics, tubular fabrics, angular fabrics, abrasive fabrics and other reinforcement related fabrics. GD Textiles is fully backward integrated and houses its own spinning unit that includes, state of the art spinning machinery such as: Reiter, Trumac and Saurer Schlafhorst. The company is capable of manufacturing fabric made of cotton, polyester, polycotton, nylon, nyco and meta-aramid fibers. The annual capacity of this unit is 8.8 million square meters of fabric, woven on autoshuttle, projectile and airjet looms.
