GDIsoc

GDIsoc - The Global Development Institute Society at The University of Manchester is a student society founded to further the aim of Development. We host various activities and events for students to bridge the gap between the academia and the professional industry. Our main objectives are: To provide exposure to the professional world of development in preparation for future careers through lecture series, workshops and events; Network students, faculty and professionals from all development and related disciplines to promote healthy academic and social growth through new relationships; and Tackle current political/economic/social issues in development with interdisciplinary dialogue.
