GDP-UCI is a pragmatic industry-led program with a prime focus of facilitating and simplifying adherence to the pharmaceutical GDP regulations and guidelines that are in place and in making GDP compliance more uniform, consistent, efficient, risk-free and practical. GDP-UCI is open to all stakeholders in the pharmaceutical distribution process. Companies large and small, from any part of the supply chain and in every location, are invited to come on board and participate in the only initiative of its kind. It is achieving these goals through the involvement and alignment of all the supply chain parties and disciplines that are involved in, or affected by, the GDP regulations and guidelines and it is this collaborative approach that distinguishes it from other industry bodies that are active in this space.
