Government Engineering College, Banka

Government Engineering College, Banka is one of the new Government Engineering Colleges established by the Government of Bihar under the Department of Science and Technology in 2018. It offers Bachelor's degree in 6 Engineering Departments, i.e, Civil Engg., Mechanical Engg., Electrical Engg., Electronics and Communication Engg., Computer Science & Engg. and Computer Science & Engg. - Internet of Things with the intake capacity of 60 students each. Each branches has well equipped labs and various workshops are conducted at regular intervals. Various technical clubs are fully functional in order to inculcate the necessary skills in the students. Technical Fests and competitions are conducted on a regular basis. Apart from this, the institute provides good sports facilities and various sports tournaments and sports fests are organized from time to time.
