Created in 1967, GECIL Process was the worldwide first manufacturer of fully automatic distillation D2892 and D1160 units.
Not only the firm is still renowned as a glassblowing company putting together the necessary components in compliance with the latest ASTM methods, also through the years the company specialized in automation of petroleum testing apparatus with a special focus on distillation. Founded in 1984 by Denis Pons, the subsidiary GT instruments allowed the distribution and servicing of petroleum testing equipment in Americas.
Our internationally renown expertise in automation allows us to upgrade all our crude oil evaluation distillation apparatus manufactured and installed since 1974 to the latest control instrumentation.
We have introduced seven generations of automatic control distillation units for our line of crude oil evaluation apparatus. Our continuous feedback from our users and participation in several standardization organizations such as ASTM keeps us on top of the latest modifications and improvements for the distillation apparatus made by our company.
