GeDaP (General Data Protected) is a Wirral (Merseyside) Cyber Security Company which secures Data and Documents in motion. Established in 1991 as Team Logic the name was changed in 2016 to reflect its aims and expertise. Originally specialising in Records Management and Data Transformation GeDaP has the expertise to help organisations structure their systems to secure their data to comply with the European General Data Protection (EUGDPR) regulation which was implemented in the UK in May 2018 whilst contending with the demands of existing systems and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)..
GeDaP mitigates the risk from "Spoofing" “Phishing”, “Spear Phishing”, and “Man-in-the-Middle” with KeyTalk technology which delivers IT security solutions in the areas of strong authentication and secure data-in-motion protection. Worldwide patented technology allows the automatic and secure distribution and installation of thousands of digital short lived (X.509) certificates per second to any desktop computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, or Internet of Things device. This results in a classic PKI-based security infrastructure but with minimal overhead and maintenance.
GeDaP has incorporated KeyTalk technology to address two specific areas:
#KISS (KeyTalk IoT Secured Sensors) secures multiple legacy unintelligent sensors through the KIS unit to provide compliance with "Secure by Design".
#SEE (Secure E-mail for Everyone) provides a unique innovative solution for S/MIME email to increase security and provide compliance with elDAS providing secure, signed,,non repudiation, encrypted email.
GeDaP is now working with Sensor City in the North-West to demonstrate a secure PKI based solution
