Geeks versus Nerds is here on Canada's West Coast and we've taken up the mantle of celebrating our local geek, gamer, and comic book nerd subcultures right here in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. Every month, we pit fan-favourite pop culture icons against each other in a battle royale of wit, hilarity, and memorable one-liners.
Each two hour show features two debates: an Opener Debate - which usually pits two less-well-known or retro characters against each other, and a Headliner Debate - which usually features two behemoths of pop culture vying for glory. Each character is represented by a team of three (Team Geeks or Team Nerds) that argue for their candidate's right to hold the title.
At the end of each debate, the audience determines the winner by round of applause, and to the winning team goes the "Chalice of Victory".
