Global Equity Fund Limited (GEF) is a private equity company incorporated in Nepal as a private limited company in 2019 as per Nepal Company Act of 2006. It is a private equity and venture capital fund with authorized capital of USD 5 million and paid up capital USD 0.2 million. Currently GEF advises (provides advisory services) about USD 35 million worth of portfolio in diversified sectors. It is an institutional fund promoted by Laxmi Bank, Prime Life Insurance & Everest Insurance. Our investment philosophy is guided by our absolute commitment to being more than just an investor. We challenge ourselves to not only add value by connecting capital to opportunity, but also through in-depth market insight, operational expertise and strategic introductions. We are the only institutional private equity fund in Nepal promoted by Laxmi Bank (leading commercial Bank of Nepal); Prime Life Insurance (leading life insurance company of Nepal) and Everest Insurance (leading non-life insurance of Nepal). We are currently under the process of acquiring Fund Management license from Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) – Government of Nepal.
