Société agro-alimentaire, située à Carentan (50) ,
nous employons 80 collaborateurs. Nous disposons
d’une unité de production de plus 6000 m2 et avons une riche expérience industrielle de 40 ans.
Dans la cadre de notre activité, nous avons su nous imposer dans 3 métiers :
- la Gastronomie : une gamme complète de salades 5ème gamme et de terrines de poisson,
- la Nutrition : plats cuisinés à texture modifiée,
- la Cuisine des Iles : plats cuisinés antillais.
Développement Durable
Depuis toujours, Gel Manche s’est engagé à limiter son impact sur son environnement… A cette époque cela ne s’appelait pas encore du développement durable mais de la citoyenneté. Dès le début des années 2000, notre entreprise est devenue un moteur départemental, régional et participe aux cercles d’échanges IDDEAL sous la houlette de la Région Basse Normandie. Souvent mise en avant pour ses actions « Terrain », Gel Manche a choisi une approche opérationnelle et factuelle du développement durable et sociétal, construisant sa stratégie dans le réel en adéquation avec le marché, les produits, les réalités économiques et surtout… L’Homme.
Cette politique prend forme dans la gestion quotidienne en s’appuyant sur 5 items : Gestion Énergétique, Gestion Emballages (amont & aval), Gestion des Déchets, Gestion sociétale et Implication Locale.
