Geláre was formed in 1986 with the opening of its original store in Fremantle, Western Australia. This outlet attracted both locals and tourists with its outstanding ice-cream range and word soon spread that Geláre ice cream was like no other. Since then Geláre International has expanded both nationally franchising stores throughout Western Australia, Victoria and Brisbane and internationally in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. The core product of a Geláre Cafe is its super-premium ice cream. Geláre ice cream is produced with fresh milk and cream using the best available quality ingredients and the latest ice cream manufacturing technology. It is richer in flavour and texture, heavier in weight with no overrun (air content) and it has an excellent shelf life.
