GelPolymer Research Group has been at the forefront of designing, synthesizing, and producing various hydrogels and smart three-dimensional polymer structures since 2008. Smart hydrogels have been developed for diverse applications in the petroleum industry, including enhanced oil recovery, water shut-off, sand control, acid diversion, and reducing drilling fluid loss.
In the environmental sector, we have advanced smart hydrogels for the removal of dyes and heavy metals from industrial wastewater. Additionally, GelPolymer Research Group is actively engaged in designing advanced hydrogels for agriculture, tissue engineering, medical applications, and drug delivery systems.
