German-Egyptian Microbiome Research Capacity Building Initiative

The German-Egyptian Microbiome Research Capacity Building (GEM-CAP) project is an international collaboration aimed at advancing microbiome research through capacity building, training, and scientific exchange between Germany and Egypt. Supported by the DAAD Ta’ziz Partnerschaft program, GEM-CAP offers workshops, research exchange programs, and hands-on training in microbiome science, metagenomics, and bioinformatics. The project connects students, researchers, and institutions to foster innovative research in health and disease, strengthen academic partnerships, and promote knowledge exchange in the field of microbiome research.
