Reid, CPA & Consultant in Springfield, IL in 1996 primarily in traditional accounting services including tax, bookkeeping, and small business consulting. Also with my extensive background in Community banking going back to 1983, we specialized in working with financial institutions. Relocated to Pontiac, IL in 1999 with a significant bank client project and then Shorewood, IL in the Southwest Chicago Suburbs in 2007 after some time with JP Morgan Chase and a Regional bank with a large Chicago area footprint. Rebranded at that time as Reid Financial Group to represent the expansion of available services, licensed at that time to include securities, insurance, and asset management. Rebranded again in 2013 as The M. Reid Agency to specialize in sharing sales and marketing skills acquired, and maintained the insurance licensing at that time. After a four year opportunity with an international consulting and sales organization in the Northwest Chicago Suburbs refining skills in small business consulting, adding recruiting and HR-related skills to the arsenal, and refreshing business and individual income tax preparation and planning skills, we've come full circle.
