GENDERACTIONplus

GENDERACTIONplus is a Horizon Europe project which works to advance the gender equality and inclusiveness objectives of the new European Research Area through the development of two Communities of Practice, one consisting of national authorities and the second of representatives of Research Funding Organisations. The network comprises 22 EU Member States and 3 Associated Countries with 26 project partners and 14 Associated partners. The GENDERACTIONplus project develops strategic policy advice, enhances the policy-making process through engaging with stakeholders, civil society organisations and citizens, builds capacities for gender equality and mainstreaming in research and innovation and creates impact through communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities. Thematically, the project focuses on five topics: intersectionality and inclusiveness, gender-based violence, the gender dimension in research and innovation, the monitoring and evaluation of gender equality actions in the European Research Area and promoting institutional change through Gender Equality Plans.
