General Engineering Works is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company was incorporated in 1972 by two engineering graduates to cater to the growing demand of telecom sector. The company initially ventured into sheet metal components and assemblies for telecom companies. Year 2000 company diversified in to power sector and started manufacturing core coil assembly (transformer active part) for oil cooled transformers up to 12.5 Mva & 33 Kv class and dummy coil assembly up to 40 Mva & 132 Kv class.
Backed on our quality and quick turnaround time we have created a niche among the transformer manufacturers and shared a strong relationship for last 15 years. Today our company lists Areva T&D India / Schneider Electric and Marsons as its clients to whom we are regularly supplying transformer active parts
