At General Patrol Services INC., our mission is to detect, deter and minimize any security incident. Based in Miami with offices in 3 locations across South Florida, we provide security and customer service at Miami International Airport, Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport, Port of Miami and in the Greater Miami-Dade County Area. For the past 35 years, our customers include major international airlines and passenger cruise companies. We also service the Coconut Grove area, where we secure equipment and do Access Control, Screening, and patrolling for public events and private residences. Our experience has led us to train the foremost guards who are highly vetted and skilled. They are subject to: a rigorous 10-year background check through FBI fingerprints, STA and US Customs; license versification; drug tests; and repeated trainings. GPS along with our guards are holders of many certifications, including those given by the Department of Homeland Security. Our security officers are trained and experienced in all aspects of Aviation/Seaport Security and Commercial Security. Some of the security services we provide are: 1.Access Control and Screening using hand-held metal detector scanners. 2.Aircraft Search and Ramp and Bag Room Security for international flights. 3. Security Patrolling and Access Control for commercial and industrial properties. 4. Escorting high-value cargo. 5. Wheelchairs and porter services at MIA and FLL. 6. Escorting Safeguards to departing flights and receiving them on arriving flights. As a registered vendor with Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, we hold all necessary certifications for LDBE and minority-owned businesses.
