General Plastic, a.s., is a prosperous company operating with PET sortiment. In Kolárovo, our headquarters, there are situated two modern recycling lines. The final product PET washed flakes is produced in various colors. The PET flakes are a high-quality material suitable for further processings such as the production of decontaminated flakes, fibers, non-woven fabrics, foils, extruded profiles, punched parts, binding strips and like. Clear flakes are produced under strictly defined conditions and with specific properties, which are suitable for the production of PET bottled regranulate, so called "Process from bottle to bottle". The branch office in Senica is well-known for the PET preforms production. This production is succesfully running for 20 years. The PET preform is a product of thermoforming the PET polymer by injection molding. The PET preforms are a high-quality product for a next processing in beverages industry. The main use of the PET preforms is a packaging for non-alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, dairy beverages wine, beer. A wide range of products is completed with the HDPE closures production and LDPE shrink film. The company General Plastic, a.s., is introducing new trends - an usage of the recycled material into the PET preforms productions. To keep up with the following trends, the company gained the possitive opinion from the European Food Safety Authority for the decontamination procces of recycled materials - PET washed flakes.
