General Time Athens

General Time is a 34 acre mixed-use development that will become the new social and commercial hub for Athens, Georgia. The project will feature the adaptive re-use of the former General Time/Westclox clock factory, originally constructed in the 1950s and will introduce approximately 250,000 square feet of new restaurants, retail, loft-offices and warehouses. Once completed, General Time will also offer newly constructed multifamily units, event and green spaces. Located within eyesight of Exit 13 of GA 10 Loop (Athens Perimeter), across the street from renowned Terrapin Beer Co., and approximately two miles from Downtown and The University of Georgia, General Time will provide an unprecedented opportunity for companies to locate at the crossroads of Downtown, neighborhoods, commerce, and Athens’ predominant parks, Sandy Creek Nature Center and the Holland Park Sports Complex. Terrapin Beer Company is our anchor tenant who took 68,000sf of warehouse spacing in October, 2018. Terrapin will continue to expand their footprint by offering new concepts as the development grows.
