Generation Action Africa

This is the official page of Generation Action Africa. Generation Action Africa is an advocacy and empowerment platform that seeks to identify and rectify loopholes within Africa's youth development systems that make it difficult for young people to attain employment or support for entrepreneurship. Our thematic areas include digital technology, entrepreneurship, public leadership. Background: Generation Action Africa was formed on June 10th 2020 by African youth at the Virtual African Youth Consultations on Covid-19, African & Global Solidarity; The forum was aimed at bringing the African union closer to young people, fostering international dialogues and co-leadership, driving conversations for youth collective response, enabling youth with information and inspire with calls to action, and securing commitment from decision makers. Amongst the many issues disclosed at the forum, youth unemployment took centre stage, creating a need to accelerate youth oriented programs aimed at reducing the level of youth unemployment on the continent.
