Generations Calgary

In 2008, His Highness the Aga Khan, spiritual leader of the world’s 15 million Ismaili Muslims, identified Generations as a pioneering global initiative to enhance the quality of life. Recognizing the crucial role of family and community in aging with dignity and joy, Generations is a vibrant, multi-dimensional campus that feels like home. In September 2019, we launched our Supportive and Long-Term Care Complex, dedicated to fostering quality aging for the most vulnerable and frail elderly. We aim to create an inclusive environment that remains culturally relevant and full of possibilities, fostering a sense of purpose and connection within our multi-generational community. We strive to cultivate this not only for our residents but also for our staff and families. As we approach our 5th anniversary, we want to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to creating an inclusive, nurturing and joyful environment for our residents, staff, volunteers and families. This commitment is not just a promise but a guiding principle we uphold daily.
