Genesis Birth Concepts (GBC) will be a midwifery founded and operated, freestanding birth center (FBC). It will provide health care to all childbearing women by Certified Nurse Midwives under the direct leadership and supervision of Lynette Allen-Pye, CNM, MACE, MA-HSC. Genesis Birth Concepts will be the first and only African American Midwifery owned Freestanding Birth Center, in the Atlanta/ Tri-Cities area, and the third only in the state of Georgia. Genesis Birth Concepts will allow for varying birth experiences which includes a holistic care plan to pregnant mothers and all that involves her, which includes water birth and natural childbirth. GBC will nurture a family atmosphere that will allow nurses and staff to care for every patient from puberty through post-menopausal. GBC will be able to afford the opportunities to extend further assistance to women that would normally not seek out proper health care due to lack of funds or health insurance. Located in East Point, GA, this 9,000 square feet facility is intended to no just birth babies, but to also educate and treat women on the importance of Lactation, Wellness, Family Planning, Behavioral Health Counseling, and that is just the beginning. Each patient at Genesis Birth Concepts will be unique and require care that is specific to and for them as individuals and their families. Some of the features provided by GBC are State of the Art Birthing Suites, IV Hydration therapy, Women's Wellness Exams, STI testing and treatment, Circumcision, Tele-med Health, Weight Management, On-Site Pharmacy, and much more!
