Cynthia Leigh, co-founder and artistic director has always dreamed of bringing her love of opera and theatre to life, in her own company, hence Genesis Opera Theatre was born.. Douglas Friedman, co-founder and General Manager joined Cynthia in forming this young, vital performing arts organization. It is our mission to fill the need to bring live opera to the community. Genesis Opera Theatre is dedicated to producing quality productions for both new and familiar audiences in accessible venues for a reasonable price of admission, and is happy to be back after the Covid-19 "intermission".
