Beyond its basic Vital Records offerings, Genesis has also developed comprehensive hospital-based perinatal applications, along with a diverse number of hospital integration tools.
The company was founded by Michael Fishter in Lewistown, PA (the corporate headquarters) and expanded in 1998 to a satellite location in Harrisburg, PA.
In addition to our Windows and Web-based applications, Genesis Systems, Incorporated provides technical support to over 2,500 hospitals in 23 states. While the birth and vital records software is Genesis' most widely distributed product, the company also provides a wide array of software products to record and process death, marriage, and divorce records.
Genesis continues to expand its operations by developing applications to assist Departments of Welfare in their Mental Health and Mental Retardation billing function, as well as supporting software developed by other medical software vendors.
