Geneticlea was founded by registered genetic counsellor Leanne Barrett, who noticed the challenges ehthnic minority groups face when accessing and engaging with genetic services. Geneticlea addresses these barriers and empowers communities by raising awarenss of genetics and healthcare. We provide workshops, presentations and participate in panel discussions to work towards our mission of improving access to and the understanding of genetics amongst ethnic minority groups, so that everyone has equal access to care.
