At Genex Power, we’re dedicated to developing a diverse portfolio of renewable energy generation and storage projects across Australia. Our operations span Queensland and New South Wales, with a focus on large-scale batteries, pumped storage hydro, wind, and solar energy solutions. As of 31 July 2024, Genex Power is a wholly owned subsidiary of Electric Power Development Co., Ltd (J-POWER), propelling our mission to becoming a prominent provider of clean energy. Our flagship project: the Kidston Clean Energy Hub located in North Queensland, is a multi-technology precinct integrating solar, pumped storage hydro, wind, and battery energy storage. Genex's Portfolio: - Stage 1 Solar Project (50MW): Operating since 2017. - Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro (250MW/2,000MWh): Under construction. - Kidston Hybrid Project (270MW): Includes a 120MW wind farm and a 150MW/600MWh BESS, currently in development. - Bouldercombe BESS (50MW/100MWh): Operational in central Queensland. - Jemalong Solar Farm (50MW): Operating in central west NSW. We are dedicated to expanding our clean energy footprint and making an impactful contribution to sustainability for future generations. Our next major initiative, the Bulli Creek Clean Energy Park, located 45km southwest of Millmerran, Queensland, exemplifies this commitment. This multi-stage project aims to deliver up to 2 GW of large-scale solar and battery energy storage capacity and is set to be the largest solar farm in the southern hemisphere once completed and operating. With a committed portfolio of 400MW and up to approximately 2.3GW of renewable energy and storage projects in the pipeline, Genex Power is leading the charge towards a sustainable future.
