GenNow Network - Tampa Bay Chapter

The Tampa Bay Chapter of the GenNow Network is a young professionals group - under the American Cancer Society - dedicated to finishing the fight against cancer while creating influence in Tampa Bay. We live the mission of ACS - save lives & celebrate life. We will be hosting socials and fundraisers throughout the year culminating in our largest fundraising event, Jockeys & Juleps on the First Saturday in May. GenNow members have the opportunity to network with others who are interested in making a difference in their community while significantly impacting the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission. Today, the American Cancer Society continues the bold mission set out by its founders over a century ago, combining its years of experience with an unyielding passion to save lives and end cancer for good. As a global grassroots force of two million volunteers, the Society's mission is to saves lives and celebrate life every single day. The organization is dedicated to helping people stay well by preventing cancer or detecting it early, helping people get well with support throughout a cancer experience, by finding cures through groundbreaking discovery, and by advocating through public policy. As a result, more than 14 million people who have had cancer, and countless more who have avoided it, will be celebrating life this year. All of this is possible because of volunteers like you.
