Gently is introducing a new decentralized logistics system to improve America's supply chain. We recognize that disruptions, such as pandemics, natural disasters, and political instability, are becoming more common, and the current centralized system has a major weakness - a single point of failure can halt the entire supply chain, putting our economy and society at risk. Our AI-powered decentralized system addresses this issue by distributing goods to local fulfillment centers near consumers, ensuring quick and efficient deliveries and creating greater resilience in the face of future disruptions. Our prediction system manages inventory placement based on data from retail partners, holistic consumer purchase behavior, and third-party contextual data. Unlike business intelligence providers that inform retailers about supply chain optimization potential, Gently does it: actively rebalances inventory on behalf of retail partners from the factory to the end consumer. The only alternative to enable retailers to this level are Walmart and Amazon - which regularly disintermediate their partners. Gently on the other hand is not a platform, but a pure enabling layer. While Gently's current focus is retail logistics, in the future, our ability to seamlessly move physical goods will lead to the decentralization of most centers of physical labor and the rise of the "labor-from-home" revolution.
