Geoclay Madencilik has started to produce raw bentonite, which it has obtained from the mining exploration licenses it has received since 2013 and the bentonite quarries it has subsequently put into operation, as a final product that can be used by the consumer, by providing full integration with the facility investments it has made in the first quarter of 2017, with the contribution of its 29 years of industrial experience.
Together with our companies Geoplas and Geocarpet, which are part of the group, it has been carrying out its production activities with an experienced staff of 400 people since 1990, in a total area of 60.000 m² in Başkent OSB to the west of Ankara. The basic principle of our company is to use the resources in the best way with the laboratory studies on the determination of the usage areas of geosynthetic clay cover and existing bentonite fields with the strong R&D staff within the group and to make sustainable and competitive mining by making continuous improvements in the production process.
Currently, our company exports to more than 30 countries all over the world.
