GeoHazards Risk Mapping Initiative

In line with the Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action) and in line with one of the seven global targets for Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction which is to substantially increase the availability and access to multi-hazard early warning system and disaster risk information and assessment to people by 2030. We decided to support the global objectives through the creation of an Initiative called “Geohazard Risk Mapping Initiative” GEO Hazard Mapping Initiatives is focused on creating geographic information and satellite imagery analysis to support states in Africa countries through vulnerability and emergency mapping of natural, biological, and technological hazards being experienced by the majority of the African countries as a result of Climate change. Vision To promote a sustainable environment through the development, generating applications, and dissemination of Geohazard maps using advanced Geospatial Technology.
