We are the department of the Forest Research Institute (Warsaw, Poland). Our operations include: - Creating and developing new methods of using remote sensing techniques in environmental studies, especially forest, - Development of methods for digital processing and analysis of remote sensing data, - Developing methods of processing and interpretation of laser scanning data with various spatial range and levels of detail, - Creation and development of methods for remote sensing and GIS data analysis to monitor the conditions and dynamics of forest areas, - Creation and development of analytical tools (dedicated software) that use the obtained remote sensing data for the natural environment management, - Developing methods of using UAV in forest environment analysis, - Spatial analysis and spatial modeling using GIS tools, - Developing GIS systems for management of spatial data sets and DSS, - Development of methods for integrating remote sensing data with terrestrial data.
