GeoNorth Information Systems (GNIS) is an Information Technology solutions provider specializing in geospatial information, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and custom application development. Our clients include Federal, State and Local governments as well as enterprise commercial clients in the energy, natural resources, engineering and similar fields. Established in 1994, we are an Alaskan Native Corporation (ANC) and Small Business Administration certified 8(a) firm. GNIS is headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska, with offices in Washington, D.C. and Colorado. GNIS is a subsidiary of The Tatitlek Corporation. In the past several years, GNIS has been investing resources to establish a unique, robust and scalable infrastructure to support a wide-variety of geospatial requirements. Central to this effort is the establishment of a Multi-Mission Direct Receiving Station (DRS) in order to establish a unique commercial GEOINT capability for commercial imagery services on US soil. This Multi-Mission DRS (located in Fairbanks, Alaska) is the only commercial entity on US soil capable of providing the full suite of commercial imaging services (tasking, collection, processing and delivery) for the entire Airbus Defense and Space (Airbus DS) constellation, including both EO and SAR sensors. The DRS is solely owned and operated by GNIS. In addition to our strategic partnership with Airbus DS, GNIS has established relationships with several other sources for geospatial data and services with the objective of offering a full suite of data sources and capabilities that can be tailored to meet whatever requirements our clients bring to us. The GNIS team consists of several industry-veterans with years of experience and expertise in bringing together a variety of solution components, including data, software and other critical components that the most demanding of users require to meet their mission critical needs.
