Georgetown Angels

Georgetown Angels is a VC fund combined with a premier angel investing group. We invest in later stage seed and series A venture capital financing rounds of technology startups. The network of Georgetown Angels benefits both the companies we invest in and our member angels. Georgetown Angels utilizes the collective contacts of its global network of angels to enable our portfolio companies access to not only capital, but also strategic relationships resulting in partnerships, talent, advisory boards, key customer introductions and leading venture capital firms for follow on funding. Our mission is to leverage our accredited angel investors to provide funding and ecosystem advisory assistance for startups. Georgetown Angels is open to all startup companies and accredited investors. Utilizing best practices in due diligence, deal flow, evaluation, term sheets, valuation and legal structures we provide a mechanism for our angels to invest, on a deal-by-deal basis, in five best in class startups per quarter. Encouraging and enabling direct contact between our angels and our portfolio companies and recruiting the best advisors to make our portfolio companies successful in both fundraising and execution are all top priorities. Syndication with early stage VCs, angel groups, and independent strategic investors is a unique aspect that we employ to insure all our selected companies receive the proper funding, relationship and customer commitments.
