Georgetown Technology Policy Initiative

GTPI fosters a community among Georgetown University students and key stakeholders at the intersection of technology and public goods. We believe that the future of technology is a collaborative decision that engages people from all backgrounds - policymakers, lawyers, technologists, and community organizers. We host events and connect students to representatives from government, industry, academia, and civil society who work in the civic tech space. We explore questions such as: "What role does technology play in society & public services? What are the societal implications? How do we think about & manage the externalities of tech?"
