Georgetown Health and Wellness Coaching

Georgetown Health and Wellness Coaching program is at the forefront of improving the health and wellness of our population. This program is dually-accredited by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is the sister program of Georgetown’s world-renowned Executive Leadership Coaching program. Housed within Georgetown’s Institute for Transformational Leadership (ITL), this HWC program delivers a best-in-class learning experience through its high-engagement learning environment, distinguished by: 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: To become an effective partner for creating lasting behavioral change, students spend time experiencing this process by increasing self-awareness & practicing self-reflection, curiosity and developing their vision & goals beyond this program. 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞: Coaching and a coach approach involve a structure & process to be practiced and applied. Students actively engage in multiple peer and client coaching engagements throughout the program. Students complete the program prepared & confident, having impacted their clients’ health and wellness. 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲: Our faculty have diverse expertise and provide complementary styles & approaches to optimize the student learning experience. Faculty collaborate in the overall curriculum, co-deliver classes, and provide 1:1 mentoring & feedback.
