GEOTPU.LAB is a multidisciplinary research group of researchers and specialists, based at the Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon.
The LAB conducts research on the development of knowledge and methodologies for the sustainability of the built environment.
The approach is based on the integration of sustainability principles in territorial planning, urbanism and architecture.
The LAB also works in incremental housing; rehabilitation and regeneration of informal areas in developing countries and on the energy efficiency in urban and rural planning.
The multidisciplinary approach facilitates dynamic collaboration between architects and engineers at the interface of design and technology.
