Gerardi S.p.A. Co. was established by Ivano Gerardi Sr. in 1971 with a background of 20 years experience in all kinds of machine shop throughout Canada and U.S.A. The company started as subcontractor surface grinding specialzing in precision guideways. After 2 years due to the down market situation the company developed the product which has given it international worldwide success: the Precision steel modular vise.
Today the Company is the largest Italian vise manufacturer, one of the leaders in Europe and the quality of its products and solutions have been developed and known all over the world.
The company has recently moved into a new 4.000 m2 building (roughly 44.000 square feet) of which 1.500 (16.500) of offices spaces in close proximity to the new Milan Intercontinental Airport Malpensa 2000.
Since 1986 Gerardi has established a worldwide sales of Angular Heads for traditional machine tools and machining centers and of Live Tooling for C.N.C. lathes.
Using its well known image and its selling channels together with worldwide marketing efforts, the company began trading and grew from few pieces production to thousands and made such technologies to be known and sold all over the world
Today the best markets for these products are Japan, U.S.A., Germany and England and the final users are the best known companies in their own sectors.
