To trace the origins of Gerbaldo Polimeri Spa, it is necessary to take a step back in time to 1985 when the Gerbaldo family founded the first company in Caramagna Piemonte, a small company specialized exclusively in the recycling of plastic materials for the production of polyethylene granules high and low density and polypropylene for the film, packaging, extrusion, injection molding sectors. In 1999 the production of natural and colored powders began, the company specializes in the rotomolding sector, the MICROLEX and HEXELL brands are born to identify standard and specialty products for the sector still today , synonyms of quality and durability. Continuous investments in R&D towards sustainability have led to the launch of an innovative material for roto molding, the GECO, a certified Second Life Plastic compound containing Ecoallene, a patented material deriving from the recovery of food tetrapack and the bifree technology capable of giving polymeric materials permanent characteristics to contrast bacterial growth with a technology inspired by nature and free of bactericides.
