Greetings from the Psychology Department at Brooklyn College! We want to let you know about a new certification program we are offering in Geriatric Mental Health. The 18-credit (6 course) advanced certificate program provides its students with the knowledge and skills to offer quality mental health services to diverse older adults and their families. Graduates are prepared to work within a variety of settings including independent practices, community agencies, behavioral health care organizations, long-term care facilities, and hospitals. Classes are scheduled for the convenience of working professionals.
