My name is Geri Zotaj, and I'm a 26 years old entrepreneur in Albania.
- Since I was a kid, I always expected myself to become someone who had to do with technology and computer, hence during 2014, I went to Germany, aiming to study informatics or at least information science since I felt I was good at it.
- While I was staying there, I got involved in public relations and events organizing on the German nightclubs. At the time, I needed more money, so I started learning about social media content creation and marketing. When this happened, I had a sparkle. The spark I was missing ignite the instance I understood I could do it, and it was something I would happily do for my whole life.
- Considering in my own country in Albania, this was something still not very developed, I decided to go back there, and together with a friend of mine, we founded the Pleamania group, a portal for the Albanian nightlife. Soon after that, I begin to work as a digital marketer online for different companies. During that time, I was also working on various day jobs, in customer care, sales, and systems safety and security to improve my skills.
- I and a group of entrepreneurs, during the summer of 2018, founded iMarketizeYou.al as one of the most professional marketing and design service agencies in Albania. Besides being one of the founders, I was in charge of digital marketing, public relationship, and F2F marketing for the majority of our clients. It was an extraordinary experience working with such a great team, but in 2019, I had to leave for Japan and begin my new adventure there.
- Momentarily I work as a contracted specialist in the digital marketing field from JICA and its partners. In my daily job, I deal with digital marketing analysis, google analytics, SEO, social media content suggestions and campaigns, website user-friendly transformations, and a few other fascinating things. At the same time, I run my very own website, where I advise and guide people in their travels
