Due to our decades-long experience, expertise, a sophisticated, structured process and a close-meshed network of German partner universities we are always able to achieve best possible study program matching! Entry requirements In order to be qualified for university courses and programmes which you wish to apply for, you must meet certain general and specific entry requirements. These requirements differ depending on the level of the course or programme you have applied to – bachelor’s, or master’s, or doctorate – and what is generally required by the university to which you are applying. Once a student has met the general entry requirements for all studies at the bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral level, he/she must also check what specific entry requirements are needed for the course or programme he/she wishes to apply for. For example, engineering courses may require that a student have successfully completed a higher level of mathematics. GPC will help applicants to understand the system and to find out what the general and particular requirements are for a wished-for course or programme at any German university. Different entry requirements for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels We have divided entry requirements into two sections: one for bachelor’s (first cycle) courses and programmes, and one for master’s (second cycle); courses and programmes at the doctoral level have very individualized requirements. Bachelor’s (first cycle or undergraduate) level requirements Master’s (second cycle or graduate) level requirements If you are interested in applying to doctoral (third cycle) studies, you will need to contact directly the university you are interested in applying to.
