Welcome to the Germanic Society for Forensic Linguistics! An international scholarly organization that brings together researchers, practitioners and students who are interested in the application of linguistic methods to matters of criminal and civil law. The society has members from around the globe and is an established and respected member of the forensic linguistic and forensic speech sciences (FL/FSS) scholarly community. Since its establishment in 2012, the GSFL has held an annual Roundtable where professionals working both inside and outside of academia can share their work, in a supportive collegial environment. In addition, the GSFL holds a yearly Emerging Scholars’ Day to support the next FL/FSS generation.
