We are a NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore incubated startup company that focuses on empowering citizens to crowdfund legal fees to fight for their rights.
Get Closer is a tool for change. The idea was conceived to empower the millions of helpless armchair activists in the country. With an online portal we intend to reduce the gap between the people and the judiciary (and change) and create more accountability in government organizations. We allow the users to submit an issue and to raise money through crowdfunding to hire a good lawyer to submit a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) in court.
Get Closer intends to further add other revenue driven legal services online and through a mobile app. With an early mover advantage Get Closer is set out to establish a strong foothold in the organized online legal services sphere across the globe.
