FANTM

FANTM designs and develops next-generation wearable human-computer interfaces that enable users to interact with digital systems using gesture and motion in AR, VR, and more. FANTM devices gather signals from non-invasive sensors on a user's arm or wrist and provide seamless user control, all powered by advanced machine learning. No need to use awkward and expensive gloves, hand-held controllers, or invasive cameras. FANTM lets users interact with AR/VR systems using the most intuitive tool they have, their own hands. FANTM's hardware and software platform has obvious applications in AR/VR/XR, gaming, and smart-home devices, but this extends even further to robotic prosthetics, powered exoskeletons, teleoperation, and more. In June 2021, FANTM launched the DEVLPR. The DEVLPR is an open-source hardware and software electromyography sensing platform built for the Arduino. Hobbyists and researchers currently have no comparable EMG sensors with the level of software support and ease of use that the DEVLPR provides. The DEVLPR allows these individuals to start building in the nascent EMG-based human-computer interaction space at a price that anyone can afford.
