Getloaded was founded in 1999 in Richmond, VA, with the mission to keep trucks loaded by providing truckers and brokers with an affordable and easy-to-use load board. In 2008, Getloaded was purchased by Roper Technologies (NYSE: ROP), which also owns the two other leading load boards in North America: DAT Solutions (DAT Power, DAT TruckersEdge, OOIDA's MembersEdge) and Link Logistics in Canada.
In 2016, Getloaded and DAT combined networks, creating the largest and most diverse electronic marketplace for spot market freight. Now, customers from both companies use the DAT platform to gain access to the premier network for van, refrigerated, flatbed, LTL, and specialty freight and capacity.
DAT also offers fleet compliance services, helping trucking companies with IFTA fuel taxes, vehicle titling, operating authority and more.
