The idea for Nona was sparked over 12 years ago, at the start of the digital health age, when Fredrik Sidfalk bought his first digital scales so he could track his weight change over time through simple and easily accessible charts. As an entrepreneur, this triggered many questions, what if I could track different aspects of my health over time? Do I have any recurring health problems I am not aware of? |’m sure I had this stomach issue before, when was that, how severe was it and how long did it last? I suffered in the pollen season last year, I can’t remember how long, was it three tough weeks or two full months? Can I track changes in these specific areas of my health after I take specific actions such a change in routine, diet or medication? Becoming a father a few years later triggered further questions, is my child healthy? How often are they sick? This week’s headache, when did it last occur and how long did it last then? Is this something I should be worried about it? Nona was launched to address these personal questions and revolutionise the world of personal health tracking.
