Mental healthcare is a growing problem in India. WHO estimates that ~200Mn Indians need professional help to manage their mental health yearly, but only 20% of them actually seek help. 45% of these 200Mn Indians have Anxiety and Depression, and ~6% have more severe disorders like Schizophrenia and Bipolar. There is a constantly growing need of a more holistic interventions in this industry.
We are working on creating just that...
Peko Care is an early stage startup, working on building care management programs for people requiring holistic support to take care of their mental and emotional health. Evaluating your problems, assigning a dedicated care team (Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Care expert, Mentor), providing drug management tools, support groups and other lifestyle offerings (Yoga sessions, Sleep stories, grounding techniques etc.) are some of the elements of our care program.
We are a team of IIT graduates and medical professionals having diverse experience in mental healthcare, technology, entrepreneurship and consulting. Our goal is to make Peko Care a trusted and widespread name that helps in bringing mental healthcare into mainstream healthcare system.
